Transamerica Building, San Francisco

San Francisco, CA, October 9, 2007

The Transamerica building is once again as it stood upon completion in 1972 after a successful façade restoration program completed by Rainbow Waterproofing & Restoration Co., The façade restoration included 40 miles of pre-cast to pre-cast caulking and wet glazing of the window perimeters. The concrete pre-cast panels were chemically cleaned and sealed with a penetrating masonry sealer to prevent water and dirt absorption into the pre-cast concrete panels.

Proper scheduled façade maintenance will further increase the service life of this San Francisco icon for years to come.

Rainbow Waterproofing & Restoration Co. has extensive experience in façade Remediation’s, Restorations, Façade Surveys and maintenance.
